Jamie Carroll has been called “the busiest man in the city” by many of his fellow local Singer Songwriters and friends. His fans have called his music “Haunting, Addictive and a mix of Beautiful Noise”. He writes songs about every day life and personal experience while relating to a vast age group. His live performance is Captivating, Energetic and Passionate as he holds the crowd in the palm of his hand with each song. While he continues to work 40 hours a week during the day he changes into his blue jeans at 5:30 and hits the stages from 7pm until the venue shuts down NIGHTLY. Heavily influenced by Classic Rock, Acoustic and Early Outlaw Country he wishes to write songs that are “timeless” and will be just as good 20 years from now. Using a Boss RC-20 Loop Station Jamie is currently performing Acoustically all over the Winston Salem, NC area. Jamie says, "I write songs about Love, Grace and Forgiveness... without these things I would not be who I am and I would not feel so passionately about my songs. Beautiful things can rise up out of the ashes of our lives IF we allow them to. This is my story...so far.... pretty much falling down... and getting back up." Performing at literally thousands of events since 1991 and more than 7 independent recordings later, Jamie released his first professionally recorded "Self Titled" CD in 2007 with Producer Mitch Malloy in Nashville, TN. Jamie has enough material for MANY other full length recordings at this time with no sign of slowing down in the song writing area or with touring. From Coffee Shops and Restaraunts to Weddings to living rooms, Festivals, Vineyards and even some local bar rooms! Jamie Carroll continues to travel the highways and take down notes along the way.

Jamie has many musical influences including:
Radiohead, U2, Cold Play, Dredg, The Eagles, Bon Jovi, Edwin McCain, Bob Segar, Darrell Scott, Jars of Clay, Keith Urban, Jerry Chapman, Bill Mallonee, Jon Mayer and Many More.
Opening Appearances have included: - Edwin McCain - Paul Thorn - Derek Webb
A personal account from Jamie Carroll:
After trying to "make it" for years I have learned to appreciate the simplicity and splendor of performing on the stage. Some of my fellow local musicians have taught me to bask in the moments of being what used to be known as "THE WORKING MUSICIAN". A sideshow at a circus? A garage in times of unexpected car trouble on life's higway? A smile on the frowning faces of those of us bruised by the 40 hour work week? I'm happy to play for you. Fame? Already have it... right here in my soul. Thanks to my Winston Salem fans and all the fine venues that hire me time and time again!
I have been writing, recording and touring for over 16 years. I could not be where I am now without the help and support of my family and friends. Especially all the other musicians who join me on stage and in the studio from time to time. I have made many mistakes in life and I try to write songs that reflect what I have learned along the way. I support and promote local music so if you're looking for more Artists to perform at your venue, please feel free to contact me about them as well. I am a "For Hire" Guitarist as well as Studio player, Writer, Producer and Concert/Event planner. I stay in constant contact with many amazing musicians and would be happy to help you Network as well.
